The word “Thomala” means a garland of flowers. Through this arjitha seva, the presiding deity is exquisitely adorned with colourful floral and Tulasi garlands after awakening Him with the Suprabhata Seva. The flower garlands are made into several specified lengths, each piece to adorn a specific part of Sri Srinivasa’s body.
Upon being placed on Him, the divine beauty of the flower garlands is brought out by the divinity of the Lord in a spectacular manner. Through this Seva, devotees receive the grace of Sri Srinivasa, and divine blessings of prosperity, serenity, and spiritual wellbeing.
